ONCE and for ALL

Under this new plan we have been forgiven and made clean by Christ's dying for us ONCE and for ALL. - Hebrews 10:10

Under the new covenant (this new plan), those in Christ HAVE BEEN FORGIVEN and MADE CLEAN once and for all. I see the enemy so often attack this reality within the Body of Christ. But what is the enemy's goal? The enemy comes only to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) and he would love nothing more than for a believer to question their eternal forgiveness.

The bible is so clear. I have sought the Holy Spirit and the bible over and over and can only ever come to one conclusion through reading His Word and seeing his character thru the Old Testament leading to the cross and the New Testament -- He loves us beyond measure, a love we can barely comprehend and the sacrifice He made for our eternal forgiveness at the cross was a very costly one because of that very LOVE. ♡ When we choose to turn and set our eyes on Him by hearing, trusting and believing in the finished work of the cross, we can rest in the assurance of our eternal forgiveness and security in Him.

The word "have" means to possess, own, or hold. The word "been" is past tense of "to be" which means it has already happened. The word "forgiven" means pardoned, excused, or a debt has been cancelled.

A believer has possession of, owns and holds a pardon and cancelled debt of eternal death which has been granted thru the final sacrifice; the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. ✞ This pardon has made us clean. The word "clean" means to be free from dirt, marks or stains; to be good or upright. You are free from blemish for all time; holy and blameless before His sight. You have been made right with Christ. Believe it!

Colossians 1:2 says: "Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault."

Romans 5:9 says: "And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation."

Believer, Christ died for your sins ONCE and for ALL! You are forgiven! You are clean! Not for a short while, not for some time, but for ALL time! ♡
