Stuck in a rut?

Stuck in a rut? ‪#‎StepConfidentlyIntoYourFuture!!

It is too easy to get stuck in the rut of yesterday. Sometimes memories of our past can keep us from fully experiencing God's Amazing Grace and the Plans He has for us.

Perhaps you are in a storm in your life right now and you wish that you could go back into a time where life seemed happier. Maybe you are wallowing in the garbage of past memories and allowing the enemy to remind you of your past failures.

If we set our minds on the "yesterday", we open a door to the enemy to place strongholds in our mind. We ultimately lose sight of the blessings God has for us in the "now" and we will find ourselves unable to move into the ‪#‎position and future that God has in store for us.

God has great plans for each one of us. He doesn't want us to dwell on the past and what we can't change. He does not want us to be labouring under a burden of guilt. He wants us to give up the past to Him which we cling onto and in faith rest in Him for our future. Christ died so that we could be released from all (not just some) of our burdens. ‪#‎HisBloodHasSetUsFree!

* "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV)

* "Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water." (Hebrews 10:22 NKJV)

* "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV)

* "For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (Matthew 26:28 NKJV)

* "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." (John 8:36 NKJV)

The ‪#‎WordofGod is our Promise!

We can leave the past behind and step confidently into a future that God desires for us. God does not remember our past, and nor should we. He goes before us. He is with us. And He will continue to be with us.

* "And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” (Deuteronomy 31:8 NKJV)
